The concept of a water garden is very simple: a pond, water, aquatic plants and moisture-loving plants.

To have your own water garden is like bringing nature home.  Since the same water is always recirculated, there is no wastage.

The role of the plants is to provide oxygenation and filtration to keep the water clean, healthy, living and clear. When the ratio of plants in relation to the pond's surface is respected, the water will stay healthy.

Aquatic vegetation can be divided into four groups:

  • Submerged plants,
  • Plants with floating leaves,
  • Floating plants,
  • Marginal plants.
