The natural water garden is defined by the way its planting is donc, meaning that no containers are used for the plants.

Planting is done directly in the substrats placed on the waterproof liner.  Planting in the ground itself remains the best method for aquatic plants.

We suggest that submerged planting areas be created during the excavation stage.  The liner will mould itself into these cavities which will then be filled with good soil.

In considering the avantages of such a technique, one can mention the natural appearance, the well-being of the plants, the attraction to birds, dragonflies, butterflies, etc.
